Mathew Dutton is the Founder of Nuerolynx, a proud father and lifelong technology enthusiast dedicated to developing innovative solutions in networking, security, automation, artificial intelligence, and intelligent infrastructure. His career combines extensive construction and project management experience with hands-on expertise in enterprise technology, allowing him to bridge the gap between physical infrastructure and modern digital systems.
Mathew built his career managing commercial construction and capital improvement projects, overseeing budgeting, estimating, scheduling, quality control, vendor coordination, due diligence, and project execution from planning through completion. His experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects established the foundation for his transition into technology infrastructure and systems integration.
Today, Mathew specializes in enterprise networking, structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, audio/visual systems, and physical security technologies. He has planned, deployed, and commissioned cloud-managed security platforms, enterprise IP camera systems, access control solutions, fiber and copper network infrastructure, and integrated low-voltage systems for commercial facilities. His experience includes working with platforms such as Verkada and Brivo while collaborating with customers, contractors, and IT professionals to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.
Outside of his professional work, Mathew maintains a home lab where he designs, builds, and tests modern IT infrastructure and emerging technologies. His lab includes enterprise networking equipment, servers, virtualization, Docker containers, network-attached storage, remote access solutions, cloud synchronization, automation platforms, and cybersecurity tools. It serves as an environment for exploring network architecture, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless networking, self-hosted services, and infrastructure management.
As a father, Mathew’s drive to build and learn is rooted in creating something meaningful, practical, and lasting. As a tech enthusiast, he continually studies how software, firmware, electronics, networking, PLCs, and intelligent automation can work together to solve real-world problems.
Mathew also develops software, firmware, and automation projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and C++, while working with embedded platforms including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, and STM32 microcontrollers. He programs PLCs, builds control logic, and continues expanding his knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence, edge computing, and intelligent automation as part of his long-term vision for Nuerolynx.
